According to GEEIQ, at the end of Q2 2024, there were over 700 brands and 1,200 activations across gaming platforms like Epic Games’ Fortnite, Roblox, and Minecraft.

One activation by Liquid Death, a popular canned water brand, embraced murdering thirst in a December 2023 Fortnite map.

The playable experience was a fun, cheeky take on Liquid Death’s tagline, “Murder your thirst.
